Kathy has been working in the social work field for almost 30 years in many different capacities including: maternal/child health, autism, developmental pediatrics, hospice and foster care. After working and practicing in the medical field for the past 20 years Kathy is now spending the majority of her time in private practice.

Kathy is originally from the South Suburbs of Chicago but has been living in Northern California the majority of her adult life. She has beautiful adult step-daughters and two equally beautiful daughters that she gave birth to. Kathy has a small farm that occupies much of her free time when she is not doing something with music as a family. She is often heard saying, “the struggle is real,” because being a parent and a fully functioning adult can be hard! Kathy is a working parent, a sister of a disabled adult, a partner, a friend, an advocate and a postpartum depression and anxiety survivor.

Kathy completed her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Iowa then later went on to earn a Masters in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. She is Licensed in the State of California and is both Trauma certified and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.
